Steinway Artist Maximilian Schairer has won several first prizes at festivals and competitions in Europe and the USA. He is also a scholarship holder of the German Foundation for Musical Life, among others. He made his orchestral debut at the age of 12 with the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra.
Concert invitations have taken him in Europe, Indonesia and the USA to festivals such as the LUCERNE Festival and the Salzburg Festival, as well as to concert halls such as the Opéra National Bastille Paris, the Toni-Areal Zurich and Carnegie Hall NY. In debuts and re-invitations, he delights audiences with his “heart, multi-faceted wit, great tonal color and personality” as a soloist with various orchestras such as the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra, among others, in recitals and in changing chamber music formations such as with the ensemble of the Stuttgart State Orchestra, among others.
He provided the impetus for creative concert formats or commissioned compositions, which he premiered. In addition, he creates an exciting classical music experience for young audiences with events and school workshops or is requested as a lecturer for courses or lectures. His debut solo album “GLOAMING” (2023) attracted international attention and was broadcast several times on the radio and in Lufthansa on-board entertainment.
His work is featured in various studio and radio recordings as well as TV appearances, such as with BR-Klassik and SWR. He regularly shares his activities with his followers on social media. As a musician, he works creatively. In his free time, he loves to get creative in the kitchen. More ›
